- This is the link for the BSA National website. There is good information for parents and scouts to reference.
- Troop 46 is a member of Three Fires Council. This website contains references to the many council activities that are scheduled for the future. This is also a great reference for training opportunities for adult volunteers.
- Three Fires Council is made up of three districts. The Chippewa District
serves the communities of DuPage, Cook & Will Counties. This website contains the names and contact information for all district representatives.
- USSCOUTS.ORG is a very helpful website for both scouts working on merit badges and merit counselors. It contains detailed merit badge requirements and additional resources to help learn the necessary materials.
- One of the guiding principles in scouting in the outdoors is ‘Leave No Trace’ This link provides scouts with the requirements for earning the ‘Leave No Trace’ award. It also provides links to additional resources for learning the principles of ‘Leave No Trace’. Leave No Trace Website
- MyScouting.org
is the website where adult leaders may take online training. Adult volunteers may create a new account if they already don’t have one from this site.
- The Boy Scout Trail website
is a wonderful resource for all scouters. It contains all kinds of scouting information including advancement ceremonies, cooking recipes, Scout jokes, songs and skits and suggested scout activities.
- The US Scouting Service Project
is another valuable scouting reference. Although it was originally developed for Scout Masters, it may also be of great value to scouts as well. It contains hundreds of references related to scouting.
- Grog’s Website of Animated Knots
is an excellent reference for all scouters who want to brush up with their knot tying skills.
- ScoutStuff.org
is the website where scouters may purchase all kinds of scouting merchandise including uniforms, camping supplies, gifts, etc.
